An Official Journal of the British Ecological Society. Journal of Applied Ecology publishes original papers on the application of ecological ideas, theories and methods to the use of biological resources in the widest sense. This includes agriculture, forestry, fisheries, aquaculture, nature conservation, wildlife and game management, leisure activities, pollution control and land use. Relevance to all levels from immediate land management to policy development, and interactions with related fields, such as economics, is welcome.
